I wasn’t around for much of the day, so most of what I have to report is hearsay from Julian. I got up & started to get ready for work around 6. I knew Kaylynn & Julian needed to get up no later than 7 to be able to leave by 8. So, I checked in and she wasn’t quite awake. I left the door open to let household noises wake her up. She wasn’t very happy being awake, but she was soon calling out to the “puppy” and “kee” in her usual cheerful voice. We tag-teamed it to get her diaper changed, get her dressed, fed & out the door so Julian could meet Melissa in WI. They dropped me off at work on the way. I got 2 kisses goodbye – how nice is that? I guess things went without a hitch – Melissa signed the document giving us permission to get Kaylynn medical treatment so we could get her shots up to date & get her into daycare. They also went to the doctor’s office and got a copy of Kaylynn’s medical records so we’d know what shots she already got. I think they ate lunch at McD’s (UGH) and she slept in the car on the way home. He got her inside and she woke up a little but then napped a bit loner. They had their day together & I got home around 5:15. She was an eating machine! She wanted more nummies and more and more. She had quite a bit of chicken noodle soup, yogurt, some raisins and some pieces of cereal. I think we cut her off at 6 animal cookies. I gave Julian a break for an hour but I had a Shir Tikvah executive board meeting to go to. I also had to pick up a lunch box & thermos for Kaylynn as well as stop by MJ & Heller’s to pick up the other car seat. I packed my dinner and took off around 6:15. When I got home, she was asleep already and Julian was pretty close to asleep. I guess they wore each other out.
